Pimples and blackheads suck! No one wants to have them. They are irritable, annoying and embarrassing. Also, they can make you have a low self esteem. But not to worry, all hope is not lost
Take heed to these pointers, to have a blemish free glowing skin.
Pimples grow when hair follicles get get blocked and oils build up under the skin. This plug gets infected with bacteria (P.acnes) and swelling results. A pimple starts to develop when the plug begins to break down.
» Heavy moisturizing products like mineral oil, is a heavy moisturizing agent found in some lotions. It can clog your pores and break you out.
» Using products like benzoyl peroxide excessively can dry out your skin. When this happens, more oil is produced thereby causing more blemishes.
» Your periods and birth control pills can affect hormone level, thereby causing an increase in sebum production.
» Your pillow cases need to be changed regularly as dirt, grease and bacteria rub off on them when sleeping. These bacterias get back on your face when you sleep on a dirty pillow case, causing break outs.
» If you don't remove your makeup before going to bed and before your exercise routine, it can cause heavy break outs. When you go to bed with your makeup on, your pores will clog due to oils in the makeup. Wipe your face, neck and back before going to bed to allow your skin breathe.
